Participation Agreement
VSA Montana, sponsor of the Festival of the Dead, asks that you provide the following information, to the best of your ability, to help us provide accurate information to our grantors and funders, supporting public value of the work done in our community.

Participation in the Festival of the Dead may include performances as well as walking in the procession, that will begin at 7:00 PM on Nov. 2. Pre- performances begin at 6 at Circle Square and post performances conclude at Caras Park.
Participating individuals and groups may include musical/dance groups, costumed individuals/groups, and individuals, schools, and community groups with shrines, art works, or materials honoring loved ones.
VSA Montana’s Festival of the Dead Event insurance and the City Parade permit restrict use of motorized vehicles use of fire or fireworks at any activity site, or throwing of candy, flowers, confetti, etc. during the parade and other site activities.
Participating groups are responsible for removing all materials, including costumes, shrines, and other procession articles, as well as debris from activities at Caras Park. All Festival of the Dead street and Caras Park activities must cease and all properties removed by 9:00 PM.
